LEX18 - Lexington, KY - News, Weather, Sports - Student Arrested For Terroristic Threatening Says Incident A Misunderstanding

Student jailed for terrorism
because he wrote a short story about Zombies atacking a high school. A
completely fictional piece about a completely fictional place!!

Darn,
the likes of Patterson, John Sandford, Michael Connelly, Steven
White.....  had better watch what they write.  We ask young adults to
excel, try to write good fiction, and then! we jail them for doing a
great job??  America has gone to the dogs.

"Poole told LEX 18 that the whole incident is a big misunderstanding. He claims that what his grandparents found in his journal and turned into police was a short story he wrote for English class.

My story is based on fiction," said Poole, who faces a second-degree felony terrorist threatening charge. "It's a fake story. I made it up. I've been working on one of my short stories, (and) the short story they found was about zombies. Yes, it did say a high school. It was about a high school over ran by zombies."

Even so, police say the nature of the story makes it a felony. "Anytime you make any threat or possess matter involving a school or function it's a felony in the state of Kentucky," said Winchester Police detective Steven Caudill."

Dixville Notch Goes For Barack Obama 71%-28%! November 4, 2008 by dekerivers

Dixville Notch Goes For Barack Obama 71%-28%! « CAFFEINATED POLITICS

Obama defeated John McCain 15-6. Independent Ralph Nader was also on the ballot, but received no votes.

The first voter, following tradition established in 1948, was
picked ahead of the midnight voting and the rest of the town’s 19
registered voters followed suit in Tuesday’s first minutes
.

Interesting. 19 registered voters cast 21 vote?? Whats wrong with this picture?

RED/BLUE voter fraud wars

Seeing more and more red/blue arguments about who is defrauding the American people more with all of their shenanigans. Demos are in a full press to register as many bodies, whether dead, alive, legal or not, as can be squeezed into the voting booth. REPOS are just as adamant to not let it happen even if they have to disenfranchise legitimate voters to do it..

A simple voter identification system would stop this but, of course, this is just "a way to keep voters from exercising their vote." It seems that we can be required to identify to do virtually anything in today's modern world but to vote? Nope.

Just another game played by our two parties.... And we all get screwed and suffer the consequences.

ooooooooo, I'm in love!!!!!!!!!! A new super, duper, monster GPS from Garmin!!

No secret that I travel a lot!! Nothing for me to traverse the US a couple of times a year with plenty of other long trips in between.

I have run from Texas to Minnesota to NY to North Carolina to Florida to Alabama to Winnipeg to Pennsylvania back to Texas to North Dakota to San Francisco and finally back to Texas with lots of stops in between and considered it a normal duty trip!! Course I stay a while in most of the places to handle contractual items, so isn't like I run into town for a day or two. For shorty trips, time wise, I fly.

In the process of doing my tooling around the home ball earth, I use a Garmin GPS to keep me on track. Tried all the others, Garmin suits me best. It gets me where I need to go with a minimum of fiddling and fuss. I been known to take it with me on the plane on my short, so flying, trips. Great in the rental. Never, ever lets me down. NYC, LA, Houston, Chicago, the sticks, wilds of Canada... Never, Ever...

So been looking forward to the new voice activated item from Garmin with all the new bells and whistles and it, finally, is on the way. The Nuvi 880!! This baby has it all!!

Got everything I need, or even want, including a steering wheel mounted remote to allow directed voice commands. The competitions' products are always listening and are not very accurate; prone to mishearing and errors. Press the button, utter the commands, and zap!! Instant accurate instructions/information.

Even allows you to do a Mapquest or Google search and load it directly into the GPS!! All right!! Read the list below. I attached some of the salient features directly from the Amazon site.

So sue me Amazon!! You get paid if they follow the link and buy!! But, Tolo whispers, make sure you shop around for the best deal!!!

Looking forward to my upgrade!! A new toy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You've given me a NEW TOY!!!! Oh, thank you, oh, Master Harry!!!

If it has a customizable, sexy voice, it might just make dating obsolete!!!!!!
(NOT)

Give it a look and tell me what YOU think!!

Stop your begging!! I will not run.......

As Monk would say, LOL!!

First Google ad is here and is "From the inventor of Mind Mapping Tony Buzan. Free download available". www.mindmap.com

Great first ad!! My blog, hate that word, is described in the box above as "Miscellaneous Ramblings of a warped mind or is it two... Sometimes I can't decide...."

I get so, so very confused.

Look at the US election candidates. We have Bob (Never met an illegal alien I didn't like) Mccain, we have Hillary (Never met an illegal alien I didn't like) Clinton, and we also have Barack (Never met an illegal alien that I didn't like and oh, please vote for me!) Obama!! Hell, we even have the alternatives; Ron (Never met an illegal alien I didn't like) Paul, and last and least, the Libertarian, YET (Never met an illegal alien I didn't like) to be Decided.

At least, the population of the US has apparently made their decision.

But, me? Wow, just too, too many choices!! Can't get my thought machine wrapped around them!! Decisions, decisions!!

Maybe I'll watch the news and read the paper. That's sure to help me puzzle this out!! Unbiased, unopinionated!! The news will rule!!

I just can't decide...." Maybe I'll click that link and see if the offered software can fix me up! Mind Mapping!!

Or maybe it has worked too well...

Beginning to wonder...

Only one word comes to mind right now, Obamanation... This election is turning into a real Obamanation!!! Just like the last, and the one that preceded, and the one before that and.. Someone wins, and the overwhelming rest of us lose...

Where is Barbara Jordan or Ed Koch when you need them?
